The Jacques Marie Mage Taos Hopper is a limited-edition rectangular acetate frame created in partnership with Hopper Goods, honoring the creative spirit of Dennis Hopper. Inspired by the sunglasses worn by Hopper in Easy Rider, this bold ’60s-style design is made from 10mm block acetate with custom double-laminated temples and signature precious metal hardware.
Named for Taos, New Mexico—the place Hopper called home and where he is buried—these frames channel the idealism, rebellion, and decadence of the era. Equal parts cinematic and contemplative, the Taos Hopper is a distinctive statement piece for spiritual thrill-seekers, secular sophisticates, and collectors of countercultural cool.
Handcrafted in Japan.

Summary
Jacques Marie Mage worked with Hopper Goods to make a special set of glasses called Taos, named after the town where actor Dennis Hopper lived and is buried. The glasses are based on styles from the 1960s and inspired by the ones Hopper wore in the movie Easy Rider. They have a strong rectangular shape, are made from thick acetate, and include metal details. Each pair is handmade in Japan.
