Native Sons Cornell
Description
Native Sons Cornell is a bold yet balanced softly squared-off oversized sunglass made from Takiron Japanese acetate that creates an intriguing vignette on the face. Inspired by the artist Joseph Cornell who built boxes equal parts mysterious and emotive, filling them with assemblages of found objects—toy birds, seashells, aperitif glasses, snippets of maps and magazines—that both revealed and obscured meaning. The temples feature precious metal diamond tooled wirecore which is able to be adjusted to fit your features and are mounted to the frame front by 5-barreled hinges controlled with a star nut to adjust and hold tension. Signature grooved temple plates are inspired by vintage hi-fi stereos. The nose pads are constructed from the same acetate material as the front to blend and maintain a clean look.
100% handmade in Japan utilizing the highest quality materials.
Acetate is cotton oil-based, easy to clean, and adjustable by any optician
