Shipping

Standard Shipping

We offer free Standard Shipping within the United States. We usually use either FedEx or UPS ground to ship eyewear within the US. In order to best serve you, we reserve the right to change shipping carriers at any time. When your order is processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. We process and ship out expedited packages ASAP, which usually means the same day, unless the order comes in too close to our carrier pickup. Our default service for Expedited Shipping is 2nd day, however we reserve the right to use a different option that makes sense in order to get your glasses ASAP. If you’d like to request a certain carrier or a shipping option not listed on our site, please contact us before placing your order so that we can do our best to accommodate. Same-day delivery may be available in the Los Angeles area.

A signature is required upon delivery for all shipments. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after your package has been confirmed as delivered.

International Shipping

If you are located in another country and you would like to make a purchase on our site, and you aren’t able to select your destination during checkout, please send us a message. We can ship outside the US on a case-by-case basis. When purchasing from outside of the United States, you are responsible for paying any duties, customs or taxes, if any are incurred. Our default carrier for international shipping is DHL, however we reserve the right to use a different carrier. A signature is required upon delivery for all shipments. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after your package has been confirmed as delivered.

Returns

You can return items purchased on dandeutschopticaloutlook.com for a full refund within 14 days of receipt.  The item must be in new and unworn condition.  Make sure to send all items that were included in the original shipment. Returns that have visible signs of wear or are missing components of the original order will not be accepted for return. Please initiate your return on our Contact Us page.

Return Shipping

We do not offer free shipping for returns. You may either return the item yourself using a carrier of your choice, we can provide you with a return label for a fee, or you can drop off your item in person at one of our brick and mortar shops.

Using your own carrier

If you use your own carrier, you are responsible for making sure it arrives safely. Please return your item(s) with a trackable shipping method so we can make sure it gets to the right place. We highly recommend insuring your package.

Request a label

We’re happy to provide you with a return label upon request. Simply select this option with your return request. If you have a preferred carrier, please let us know. To cover shipping costs, we charge $12 for a return label, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

In Person Returns

There is no fee to return your item in person. To expedite the process, please send us a message to let us know that you will be returning the item and at which location.

Customization

Glasses that have been personalized in any way, including custom lenses are not returnable.  If there is something the matter with your order, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make it right.

International Returns

Due to the complexities of international import and export customs and duties, international orders are not returnable.  If there is something the matter with your order, please let us know as soon as possible.

In Store Purchases

Note that this return policy only applies to purchases made on our website and differs from the return policy for our brick and mortar shops.
