New Ray-Ban in Westwood: skinny wayfarers and all

New arrivals from Ray-Ban in Westwood

We recently got a shipment from Ray-Ban in our Westwood Village shop that really piqued our interest. Ray-Ban is always coming up with something new, but there were too many notables this time for us to keep quiet.

Clubmasters fold and go platinum

Although not the first sunglasses to fold, we think these folding Clubmasters are already a collapsible classic. With traditional clubmaster styling and sturdy double rivet details on the hinges, they just feel very cool.

Another addition to the family is the Clubmaster Aluminum that we’ve been waiting for. It’s stunning in brushed silver and gold details.

Wayfarers go on a diet and show some skin

A new skinnier Ray-Ban has come out with slimmer profile and lighter in weight. Part of Ray-Bans Liteforce Tech series which is made from a kind of  flexible “thermoplastic”, they are extremely comfortable.

 Aviator Rimmed in White

Another Ray-Ban icon that got a new look is the aviator. We think this one in gold rimmed with white is extremely hot. After all, isn’t white the sexiest color?

Ray-Ban Aluminum Clubmasters

Aluminum Eyewear

A blast from the past brings us the Ray-Ban Clubmaster in a new incarnation. Ray-Ban’s iconic style, first introduced in the 1980’s was modeled after browline glasses first made popular in the 1950’s.  Although some predecessors were available in aluminum, this is the first time Ray-Ban has released the Clubmaster in the lightweight metal, giving their frame a what’s-old-is-new-again sleek look and feel. Available in gunmetal, bronze, silver, and black.
